This is a case of a 25 year old male who had 2 cups of coffee 3 hours prior to an event he’ll never forget. Later that night, patient JA decided to take a 2 hours nap after reviewing for his exams. He turned off the lights and left a small warm light open. He set his 2 phones on alarm at 2 in the morning and immediately fell asleep.
After 30 minutes or so, patient JA, felt cold and at the same time felt something's pulling him into a deeper sleep. That’s when he sensed, it was like he’s being watched by someone. Patient JA ignored what’s happening, since after 3 years staying in his dorm room, there’s nothing strange or extraordinary disturbances he’s aware of occurring there.
Patient JA removed all the pillows in his bed (all 5 of them) but there’s no luck, everytime he’ll close his eyes, the feeling of being watched and being pulled to a deeper sleep was there. There was an instance he felt that there was a heavy feeling on his torso, like someone sitting on top of his chest. JA never returned to sleep and just continued with his reviewing.
Weird as it may sound, that happened couple of times already, and that’s when JA sleeps when his feet faces the door of his dorm room. So is it true? What the old superstition says?
