Medicine is Might

As doctors, before we make a diagnosis we gather all the facts.

We take your history; ask you what happened from the start. We ask you to narrate. We keep you on tract with your details in case you have segues and telling stories not related with you disease. We perform physical exam in each complain you said; we look, we touch, we use our senses. We use stethoscopes and equipments that will aid us. We review both your History and PE before we make conclusions. If we’re not sure we indicate “to consider” or “to suggest”.

We don’t make half-baked conclusions.

We don’t make Biased assumptions.

We don’t speculate.

Why? Because we may give you a wrong impression followed by a wrong management. It will ruin our career, our credibility.

It’s a process…

In every patient…

In every case…

And you might kill your patient. You actually forgot the most important thing in your profession - to aid the sick. Not just about your credibility and career, more of your responsibility. Good luck and God bless! :)
