Fear…
Some of us have fear of heights,
Some has fear of spiders, snakes, and the likes.
Some of us have fear of supernatural beings like ghosts.
As described, fear is a vital response to physical and emotional danger—if we couldn't feel it, we couldn't protect ourselves from legitimate threats. But often we fear situations that are in no way life-or-death, and thus hang back for no good reason.
Just like everybody else, I have my fare share of fear.
I’m afraid to become physically dependent to my family or anybody close to me. I’m afraid to be engaged in accidents then after I survive and that will hinder and make me incapable of doing things that I still and want to do. (I’m not being prejudiced to our fellows who everyday has a struggle trying to make it work and living normally, I salute them, and I owe them apology if ever one of them is reading this and got offended)
I’m afraid of heights. But I am managing to control this by practicing. I used to stay away from looking in lower levels of malls when i stroll and in my school. I even used to refuse staying around those circles and take a peek what’s going down.
I’m a little claustrophobic too… I hate it when there’s a feeling that you’re suffocated. It happened once. I panicked inside an elevator in MRT Quezon Avenue station. I can’t breathe and started sweating and I was telling myself to calm down. I regret why I ever took a ride to that elevator.
