Never Been Kissed

I was watching Never Been Kissed again, (for the nth time!) and this shows how much I love drew Barrymore. hehe. It’s a typical high school nerd film; you know how nerds rock high school, aside from making fun of and being bullied. It’s one of those movies that you’ll laugh with and at the same time or maybe can relate of.

Josie (Drew Barrymore) was assigned from copy editor to an undercover reporter to investigate what the youth of that decade (90s) are up to. She landed as a high school student again in South Glen South and what she ended discovering is herself. Josie is your typical geek-to-the-core and she never runs out of words. The film also used Shakespeare’s “As You like It” since like Rosalind; Josie’s playing a double character.

I never get bored with this film. I was literally laughing on some of its parts. Drew plays a good dork with that goofy character and that snort she does. Hehe!

Most of us are glad that we left high school aside; yes they have good memories and all. Back then we wished we can be as old and mature as of now but sometimes we act like we never left high school. We then wished we belong and be accepted. But sometimes, up to now we wished the same thing, maybe in a subtle way. I don’t deny that. It maybe from your work, from your school, or maybe at home you long for something.

I’m still confused and I have 5 days to go…
