From One Party to Another... That's how we Migrate... (repost)

So where I’ve been last night?

I wonder what’s with the month of June. Sure most wedding are in June but how come most of my friends were also born in this month. Or the month of October cause apparently that’s month they were conceived. Well I’m not really complaining cause more birthdays equates with more party celebrations! Hehe

Last night, I returned to QC to attend my friend’s 26th birthday at Omakase, a Japanese restaurant in Il Terazo, Tomas Morato. I’m not really a fan of Japanese food. But last night changed my thought about it.

Let the pictures speak for themselves!

After the birthday party, my other friend was not yet in the mood to go home so we went to Fort Strip right after. Again I’m not a fan of going to these kind of places… like, Encore...

Why?

1. I hate smoke! And the odor sticks to you no matter what. And second-hand smoke = increase risk of lung CA.

2. I only drink occasionally, so yes I got a little drunk.

3. Feels like I don’t belong. Parang pang mayaman kasi? haha :D

But I kinda enjoyed last night because we got in via VIP treatment, drinks are not that bad, very tight security so wala masyadong magugulo. Music’s okay (except for club mixes of beaver and t.swift’s music! Lol), hot Girls (best thing is when they smile or wink back at you)! Hihihi and syempre yung dalawang kasama ko. I’m really happy I’m with them. We’re friends since first year Med.

Oh and yeah, silly and funny looking people who doesn’t care how they dance to the beat. Hehehe. Nakakatuwa silang panuorin!

Okay back to sleep!

i apologize for that weird post, i was trying to add formspring on my blog. my answer to that question was, ME! lol!

Such Elementary Things…

I did something awhile ago that I haven’t done for years. I jog along the oval in UP while it’s raining at ang saya! :P I remember when I was a kid, my Yaya never allowed me to play outside when it’s raining, so whenever I had the chance to play (especially when she’s asleep) I had fun outside our small garden in the province.

I know it’s a silly thing to do, but I did enjoy that raindrops falling in my face. (Washing away my tears, nyehehe) While running I imagined myself being chased by someone and was about to shout, RAPE RAPE! Hehehe

After 3 laps I decided that I needed to go back in my dorm and take a shower.

I was kinda busy last week. I attended two parties. One was my friend’s birthday party last Wednesday, I’m happy that he liked my present which only took me 3 hours to finish. It’s an enlarged photo collage that I framed. It’s a chronicle of his medlife along with our antics. One picture was from our last minute Manoag trip, we came there at night and we’re short in cash. Good thing our ATM cards and credit cards were accepted in one of the small hotels and in one of the grocery shop. Hehehe

my fave! spicy beef curry!

spring rolls and chicken strips something something...

banapple's banoffee... i think. hehehe

It was my first time to try Thai cuisine! And I super love it! Super anghang! hahaha

The other one was an Inauguration party last Saturday, my dad’s friend won last election and we were invited. Last minute, I thought it was a black tie event and I was wearing poloshirt and sneakers. Haha, good thing it’s a casual affair and mostly the attendees were family friends and us. :P

The Things That I Will Do

Damn I am tired! Remember my last post about the family get together my brother planned for his and my mom’s celebration? I kept on asking my mom if she invited someone to help. She said, she can manage the cooking. And since my other brother wasn’t here and enjoying his trip in Subic, me and my dad were the only ones left to help.

I don’t mind the helping part, I just wished there was someone else to help us. I started my day cleaning, then around 1 pm I started helping cooking. I was in front of the stove from that time up to 4pm. I jokingly SMSed my 2 brothers that our mom felt dizzy and we needed help. As I expected both of them reacted concernedly and was sorry. As I finished frying I knew that my job is not yet over. I have to set the table and prepare drinks. I then saw my mom massaging her nape and knew she was really tired. I told her to take a rest first, take her blood pressure in 15 minutes and I’ll handle everything.

Around 5:30 pm guests started arriving at our house. Good thing most of them were my cousins. I was preparing drinks then when I saw the dishes started pilling. I told myself of how I miss my Ate so much. I miss her so much cause if she was here she will never leave me in that situation. Or though there might be a lot to do, I know we can accomplish things easily and at the same time we will enjoy. I just kept on saying to myself, “this’ll be over soon!” 3 to 4 hours later, chores declined. My hands hurt so much worst my feet hurts.

The 3 things that annoyed me so much during gatherings and maybe mostly the reasons I don’t want to go out are:
1. people will ask me how med school is and much worst is to be asked, “how many more years will it take before I will graduate?”. (maybe some of them still doesn’t have the idea that I failed)
2. people will tell you and mock you that you effin gained weight!
3. people will say that I have to do the dishes now cause when I become a doctor, they can’t or won’t be able to ask me to do so.
4. lastly, where’s your girlfriend?

I just wished some of them will go home already. But I was glad my favorite cousins were there, I had a good chat with them. If they weren’t here, I will just head directly to my room and lock myself in.

The idea of helping my mom and doing this for my mom are the only reasons I agreed to do that. But next time, I will insist for a caterer or just someone to help!

Enchanted! Enchanted!

Nope, this is not about the recent Enchnated Kingdom disaster at Hala!! 1 week na ko walang post. At sobrang trapik sa Metro gawa ng shopping spree ng mga tao, (napatunayan ko na mas malakas piso ngaun! haha) at grabe, jampack sa trinoma (from sosy pips to pips na pa-sosy to walang paki!hahah). 3 consecutive days din ako dun. Shopping ng shopping ng pangregalo, tingin at bili ng bagong pangporma, hanap ng pangexhange gift.

Dahil sa matagal din walang post, let’s make this one random. Oki? Game!

2.Another two for number 2. Ung una may kasama ako. Si… sikreto! Last Tuesday un (18th) Hehe. Kumain muna kami then nuod ng sine sa trinoma. (san pa ba?)

Unlike other Disney flicks, nakakatuwa panuorin to, nagenjoy tlaga ako dahil andun si Mcdreamy, yung kuya ko.

Lagging ise-save o ipagtatanggol. Hahalik. No questions asked, walang background sa pamilya, sa interest, sa lahat2. Pero the day after ikakasal na. sa reality, ilang months bago masasabing ang isang relationship ay established na. madalas nga ung iba di umaabot ng buwan o taon. It’s a jive of fantasy and reality. kaya panuorin nyo, di lang pambata pangisports pa!

Hahaha. Matching sing and dance habang naglilinis
d.Syempre sing and dance uli sa Central Park.
e.Ung ending! Haha cheesy! But sweet! Hahaha ako ba to? I think I’m in love na nga. Haha!

3.Last Wednesday (19th) drinking spree naman. Haha! After nun diretso kami somewhere out there. Where the lights are flashing like Christmas light. Where a disco ball land a pole can be seen. Where the music is constantly changing from fast to slow yet stimulating songs. Where sad and lonely but pretty girls “works it”. Sirit? Hehe un lng. Period

4.That night din, we walked in the streets of Tomas Morato.

5.Xmas party last night! I was having second thoughts of attending until napilit din ako ng tropa ko. Why am I considering not attending? Again I don’t want to feel like I don’t belong there. I have this aphorism “if I will not enjoy, why attend it?” But I did attend. I enjoyed. I swallowed my f*cking pride! We were having so much fun and I enjoyed talking to the people who’s really close to me in that section. It was like we had a lot to catch up and it’s been a decade. Until we have games (Oo na, pambatang party! Haha) I was asked to join, it was a game wherein you have a spoon in your mouth, tapos may kalamansi, and then you have to walk and rotate to a pole then walk back to your position. If the kalamansi fell you have to start again. Since I was the last person in my group I “have” to eat the kalamansi. The game went on, I ate the kalamansi. BUT I forgot how many times it fell on the floor!? Not more than 10, but come on, the thought it’s in my mouth! Hahahaha. I just made fun of it and said “sakto may ubo ako” hehe. Pero the time I saw some people that were laughing and that I know will make a fuss about it (ung mga taong plastic na akala mo kung sinong santo pagnakatalikod ka! Nakoow!). It was like a movie scene, slow motion effect, with them laughing. I was imagining right at that time. I shouldn’t have come. But I have to lighten up! Seriously!

6.Right this moment, I’m here in my dormitory, typing my post. But most of the people here went home already. Sobrang tahimik na dito. Freaky but I prefer that. Bukas pa kasi sundo ko. Haay!

Merry Xmas sa lahat! I hope you’ll enjoy this season. Be thankful of the things we have especially our families and friends. Be sorry for our wrong doings and hope and pray for those who have none. I hope the true spirit of this season Shines on us! Joyeux Noël!=]
